In a post online, Boyle Street thanked the fans and Caruso and his team for their generosity.

When theVegas Golden Knights saw us from the window of their hotel across the street during theNHL playoffs and decided to buy a pizza lunch fromPanini’s Italian Cucina for our clients, they sparked the generosity of hundreds of fans across international border,” read a Facebook post by the organization.

A website for the campaign says 308 of the pizzas were donated from Nevada while 158 were donated from Alberta. A total of 402 pizzas were donated from the United States and 191 were donated from Canada.

“The best part about this business is, bringing food to the table and watching from the kitchen, people smile,” said Caruso. “So to see people that truly, truly need the food, to see them eat that pizza and smile and be happy for the day, I can’t be happier.”
