A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Monday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 2.0 C with 7 km/h winds out of the southwest.

What would otherwise be an absolutely gorgeous day will likely be ruined by that darn wind again. Forecasters are calling for a high of 20 C but accompanied by wind gusts of 20-40 km/h all day proving again why wind is the prime reason we can’t have nice things. After today, the forecast takes a bit of a dip as we head back into single-digit temperatures for Thursday and Friday, and even some below freezing overnight lows. Still too soon to turn off the furnace, me thinks.
