Edmonton weather: It’s a new day, yes it is

A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Thursday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -6.8 C with 8 km/h winds out of the south, southwest contributing to a -11 wind chill.

It’s not a particularly inspiring day, weather-wise.

Nothing particularly sticks out. It’ll be sunny, but not warm. It’ll be cool, but not cold. It’ll be windy, but not gusty. It’ll get a little cold overnight, but not enough to plug in your car or crank the heat. It’s definitely jacket season, but not parka season. Toque and gloves might help but turtlenecks are probably overdoing it. You could probably get away with those super thin gloves you get literally anywhere. A nice scarf is always a great look but it’s likely too soon for wool. Come for the weather, stay for the sound fashion advice.
