Between Dec. 2 and Dec. 5, Vermillion RCMP responded to complaints of a person making unwanted contact via phone and text from seven different individuals, police said in a Monday news release.

The suspect was known to one individual, who helped police identify a suspect on Dec. 3. All seven complaints were linked to the same originating number.
