Oil Spills: Injury forces Edmonton Oilers blue-line adjustments

Adam Larsson broke his the fibula in his right leg during the Edmonton Oilers’ season-opening game.

It has forced the NHL club to play two rookies among their top four defencemen thus far in the 2019-20 campaign.

Hockey Hall of Fame writer Jim Matheson talks to host Craig Ellingson about the approaches the Oilers can use on the blue line without the services of Larsson, who is expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks.
