Aylward is a Canadian, an international infectious disease expert, and an advisor to the WHO director general. Aylwardrefuses to address whether Taiwan should be part of the WHO or discuss in specific terms Taiwan’s success. A clip of him trying to avoid the questions on Taiwan goes viral internationally.
