MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Luka Burzan scored twice as the Brandon Wheat Kings shutout the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-0 in WHL action Saturday night.

Ben McCartney knocked in the game winning goal for the Wheat Kings at 7:59 of the second period.

Connor Gutenberg and Lynden McCallum (2 goals) also scored for Brandon.

Brock Gould combined with Boston Bilous for 34 saves for Moose Jaw.

The Wheat Kings outshot the Warriors 40 to 35.

Moose Jaw (11-27-2) went 0-for-4 on the power play. The Wheat Kings (24-17-3) went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

SWIFT CURRENT, Alta. — Aidan De La Gorgendiere scored twice as Saskatoon beat Swift Current 7-2.

Martin Fasko-Rudas, Chase Wouters, Tristen Robins, Alex Morozoff and Kyle Crnkovic also scored for the Blades (22-18-3).

Cole Nagy and Aiden Bulych did the scoring for the Broncos (9-29-4).

WINNIPEG — Peyton Krebs scored twice as Winnipeg beat Calgary 5-2.

Jakin Smallwood, Nolan Orzeck and Michal Teply also scored for the ICE (27-15-1).

Riley Stotts got both markers for the Hitmen (22-15-5).

PORTLAND, Ore. — Seth Jarvis scored twice as Portland snuffed Kelowna 7-0.

Jack O’Brien, Clay Hanus, Reece Newkirk, Jake Gricius and Tyson Kozak also scored for the Winterhawks (32-6-5).

Portland outshot the Rockets (21-19-3) 57 to 17.

RED DEER, Alta. — Zak Smith scored twice as Red Deer downed Prince Albert 4-3 in a shootout.

Keaton Sorensen also scored for the Rebels (15-23-5).

Ilya Usau, Landon Kosior and Eric Pearce scored for the Raiders (23-14-8).

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — James Hamblin scored four times as Medicine Hat clobbered Lethbridge 6-2.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Connor Zary scored twice as the Kamloops Blazers hammered the Tri-City Americans 9-0.

Kamloops outshot Tri-City (14-23-5) 50 to 24.

EVERETT, Wash. — Jake Christiansen scored twice as Everett blew out Seattle 8-0.

Ty Kolle, Hunter Campbell, Jackson Berezowski, Olen Zellweger and Gage Goncalves (2 goals) also scored for the Silvertips (28-11-3).

The Thunderbirds’s Cade McNelly was given a match penalty for major-fighting at 10:09 of the second period.

Everett outshot Seattle (18-21-3) 43 to 14.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Reed Jacobson scored twice as Spokane downed Regina 6-2.

Adam Beckman, Erik Atchison, Graham Sward and Brad Ginnell also scored for the Chiefs (23-15-5).

VICTORIA — Vancouver Giants tripled Victoria 6-2.

Zack Ostapchuk, Jackson Shepard, Tyler Preziuso, Eric Florchuk, Justin Sourdif and Cole Shepard scored for the Giants (19-18-4).

Phillip Schultz and Gary Haden found the net for the Royals (25-15-3).
